Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the accounting and financial reporting and operating functions of the company, including preparing and presenting financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports as required

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments

Assists in the annual audit process, including working with external auditors and tax preparers to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices

Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and safeguard the company's assets

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management for improving financial performance

Work closely with other departments to ensure that financial data is accurate and consistent across the organization

Provide financial guidance and support to management on key business decisions, including investments, acquisitions, and divestitures

Manage PH-based accountants, review and own processes and work output

Stay up-to-date with changing accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global or big company

CPA is required; MBA is a plus; other certifications are welcome

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including US GAAP and IFRS

Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and audit management

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate results effectively to senior management

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of accounting professionals

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Willing to work on a night shift or partial night shift depending on the arrangement with client
